Cathay Cargo Terminal operates one of the world's most advanced air cargo terminals, offering world-class cargo handling services for Cathay Cargo and other international airline customers operating at Hong Kong International Airport.

Responsibilities:

• To lead a team of Operations & Services Support Supervisors and Cargo Services Officer to provide administrative supports (consumables / stationery inventory management and staff roster planning) to Operations in order to maintain reliable and efficient operations;
• To lead projects for operations team, evaluate and recommend for improvements initiatives
• To liaise with various internal and external parties on day-to-day Systems and Services Support matters;
• To coordinate with other operation stakeholders and IT to capture requirement for system enhancements;
• To execute testing of System Change Request, bug-fixes and enhancements development and initiate suggestions on services improvement;
• Participate in training staff and contractor’s staff when required;
• Follow up the Operations Systems’ irregularities and preclude recurrence;
• Report services irregularities and seek instructions from Assistant Manager – Operations & Services Support, & Head of Operational Excellence;
• To compile reports as so required for Operations need;
• Perform audit check and compile management report with recommendations.

Requirements:

• HKCEE/ HKDSE or Tertiary level educational qualification preferably in Logistics or Transportation
• Preferably 5 years’ experience in airlines, air cargo terminal, ground handling agent, logistic company, warehouse or freight forwarding company, of which minimum 3 years in a supervisory level or above
• Hands-on experience in the air-cargo terminal, airport and ramp operations is advantage
• Sound knowledge on import, export, transshipment cargo and mail handling operations and procedures
• Maturity with highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to work effectively with all levels of personnel in different functional units
• Details oriented, a self-motivated team player and confident leader
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Willing to perform shift duty including overnight shift
